The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 出于这样的感慨，导演才设置了这样一个“妻子”的角色。影片的闪回和幻觉的流畅转场，对人物心理刻画和情绪渲染起到很大作用。尽管茨威格小说的精神世界并不容易改编，
电影本身3星。茨威格，还有电影的营造，加1星鼓励。看过原著，电影有故弄玄虚的感觉，不如小说精彩。
看年老的男主还蛮讨厌的，但是年轻时的菅田将晖一出现。瞬间男主身上那些浮躁，不靠谱都成了不需要我介意的因素，也理解了淑子多年来不离不弃的深情。不过最后迟来的“电影之神”真的很遗憾啊，年轻导演的灵气和激情并不是被生活消磨，而是自己本身过度高昂的自尊心抹杀，这我更难接受。
如果不是看过小说，相信很多不懂，也不明白这种精神。全程只有一种这个男人自救学了象棋，而很厉害。
作为一个曾经逃离过又回来继续打工的影视民工，真的有被狠狠感动到。电影不是生活的全部，但电影不会走，留在荧幕上的那些人和那些时刻永远都会在。
老爷子生动，苏打正常发挥。故事老套又感人。
时间流逝，多年后我们实现了年轻的梦想。
这个故事拍的OK，但不精彩，靠男主的表演撑起了一部戏。
精神的折磨会挫败普通人，却会让牛逼人更加牛逼。
