The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 汉克斯独角戏。对于爱的教育上，不如超能查派，但也还是可看的片子，有动人的瞬间。
好温馨的末日西部片，全片都是汤姆汉克斯一个人的独角戏，他教给机器人所学所作的，都是为了在他死后能够照顾一只狗狗，因为对小女孩的死心存内疚，对这只狗的照顾是心中唯一的慰藉。

观感舒适，缓而不燥。质感好细节足，讲好了一个末日不独存的故事。

很神奇，我在一个没有生命的机器身上，看清什么是生命，什么是活着。在人类的道德和规则崩塌之后，芬奇在一个机器人身上延续人性的率真和生机勃勃。世界毁灭了，人性却得以重生。

食之无味，Don McLean歌好听，临终关怀何必苟活我大概会查“无痛苦自傻”吧 Jeff只是另一个汉克斯，连脸都一样长
确实只适合拍成短片，末世题材太老套，了剧情上也没有特别大的亮点。可能是汉克斯太老了，跟《荒岛余生》差的不少。
温情的末世小品，忽略掉微微突兀的加州情怀（？），都很好。
最后那部分给我整感动了。忽然就感到一种巨大的孤独压迫着你。人的生命是脆弱而短暂的。把自己带入到那个机器人身份，看着自己熟悉的人离开，放眼望去，只剩下你，还有一条狗，从此连个说话的人都没有。
设定上虽然有些矛盾存在，但是这不是科幻片，是在讨论一种可能性下的人性，看似简单的故事，内涵却极其丰富。人类在消亡，机器人还是个新生儿，结尾杰夫和狗的背影走过金门大桥，但是他们真的准备好了吗。
