剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     用类似《雨中曲》有声电影冲击情节互文呼应New Era有点老套。但在那个时代看，低廉的电影票价让贵族和仆人在黑暗中坐在一起，是颠覆了政府教会、富人和受教育者的有关道德准则的新时代的象征。继留声机和无线电之后，用“电影”这种大众娱乐来结束唐顿系列也很妙。追了这么久，最后老夫人去世，Thomas找到真爱离开，主题曲起来，还是有触动。所有人都平等爱着且被爱的庄园美梦，很魏玛式乌托邦。
