The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Lucy的心魔是执着，事事都必须在乎，对政治、对感情、对艺术都不能含糊。她的丈夫却相反，只想过一种80分的日子，所以才会逃离妻子去“打牌”，觉得就算招妓也没什么，给自己放完20分的风，还是可以做个80分的好老公。故事表面上是现实版《一个明星的诞生》，我倒觉得双方成就的差异其实并非关键。

妮可的表演确实很撑场面，在提名的五部中应该值得一座小金人。就是脸整的都快认不出了… 哈维尔.巴登好man啊～ 就是整部电影剪的细碎，剧情不太有意思…

反杀之后开门接过花束那里的设计很妙，可惜电影整体水准受限。
