The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 贝尔法斯特这个名字包含了太多的辛酸与血泪，它有着太黑暗也太沉重的一段过去，而这种种情绪并不是能那么轻易地就表达出来的…
《贝尔法斯特》有着十几首动听的BGM，在轻歌曼舞中唱尽爱尔兰人的乐观幽默、执拗坚强，道出他们的心酸与不舍。
三星半，对历史背景过于陌生，很难带入情感。刻意的配乐和镜头让人看不清本属于电影的纯粹和自然。有些用力过猛的电影，不是不好只是不够好。

6/10。其实整体的质感还可以，故事虽然普通，但把童年的美好与家庭、社会的暗流涌动展现了出来，算是完成了任务。然而故事还是过于琐碎，导致没有重点，而且所谓童年的美好大多透过看电影来呈现，是为剧作上的偷懒。

剧情略有点平，感觉是借着北爱冲突的大背景拍情感和人际关系，从叙事角度如果单独作为一部电影来看不是特别完整。
三百年根源的对立，二十世纪后三十年的流血冲突，几次在内战边缘。政治，民族，宗教，这些蔓延在街道社区的仇恨，隔阂，冲突，是笼罩在每一个离开或者留下来的人一生之中的。直到今年还在因脱欧的爱尔兰海边界问题，芬党领导人的防疫问题而引发冲突流血及恐吓。比照电影，是无论如何，都不能以轻佻，软弱来批评的。这种视角的选择，是艰难前进的和平进程中，可贵的真挚感情。

一些片段的剪辑速度似乎与画面构图有仇，摆出如此精致的构图，还没来得及仔细看，剪辑很快切到下一个画面。同样是小孩子的视角，以告别和成长为主题，这么对比《八月》真棒啊，声画都有雕刻时光的味道。
