The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 虽然怪兽片结合美式摔跤、二代+二代的组合挺新鲜，但文本的流水账是致命的，节奏一塌糊涂，实在没法吸引人一直看下去。就好比派拉蒙变形金刚2以后的几部，打得热闹但没意思。
典型的爆米花电影，剧情一目了然，合理与不合理都摆在了台面上，流水线上的动画电影图一乐就好

不太用心的套路电影，所有的流程走一遍，但没有感动和搞笑
开局还以为有什么惊天大瓜，神反转之类的……结果都没有，剧本平平无奇……而且，一个本来就没有接受过正规训练、且并不那么摔跤的小怪兽，就潦草训练了一段时间，就打败了顶尖选手，这也太牵强了吧。
舞蹈元素和摔跤元素相结合
