The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 重金属和高中生并不冲突，女主很纯真的感觉，反差萌。
摇滚青春荷尔蒙……无疑此片表达部分对重金属音乐的致敬。其实很是感慨，作为在美国发扬光大的摇滚乐，加上电影业领先全球，却很少有与摇滚乐的电影，优秀的就更加稀缺，此片偏重于重金属。
很青春，又幻想又真实，实则和重金属的关联性并不大

好中二的一部青春片，重金属只是其中一个小元素，更多还是在讲述青春，朋友，春心萌动，成长和梦想吧，换汤不换药的剧情套路，虽迟但到的“处男处女”和“磕药”。话说其中男主怼天怼地的行为让我有一瞬间还怀疑他是不是磕药磕多了，虽然这大概也是大众对于重金属精神的理解吧（唉）。最后比赛现场还是挺帅的，结局也有一点出乎意料。6.5分

校园青春。怪胎励志。最好的是音乐，尤其是后面比赛时那段。其它内容也就平平淡淡

本片和Metal没有太多关系。青春，玩乐队的青春是重点。咱身边还有多少玩乐队的青年啊。哟，中国有嘻哈。有吗？有嘛。
虽然情节老套，但是这样的题材还是太少了，请多拍。最后，还是缺贝斯，怨念。

不着调的校园青春喜剧置入一个重金属音乐主题，哪里都不太妙却足够让人喜欢，热爱他们所热爱的，还要求什么呢
挺好，干净利落，不病娇、不颓废，美帝高中生日常。主角们演技到位。
笑点和燃点都在最后的battle of band上

看完《摇滚校园》，再看这个，内核大同小异，没啥感觉，男主真他妈的作！反抗就跟小孩过家家一样，喊喊口号，语不惊人死不休！不过我们连他们一半的勇气都没有！
