The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 感觉像是在模仿爱狗人士，全程打打杀杀不要文戏，然后这个真就不要文戏了，literally，不过打戏纯粹的中世纪打了一会就看腻了，然后这和老师就把城给突了。。。。不是，你们到底谁才是带恶人啊，而且那个啥，牺牲老师完成职业觉醒我懂，但是主角这边一个不死。。。。反派这边赶尽杀绝，。。。。我。。。你们。。。真就是传奇，各种砍瓜切菜一路999是吧。。。。反派这么能送的，我也是服了，先是开局使劲ob一个一个喂经验是吧，说真的，这个换成游戏，贪婪的冒险家成为弑神的路？？唯一觉得还能看下去的就是Joey King，still觉得她还是拍些狗血爱情电影吧，这个，还是way too much了
越南导演替hulu拍的网大，第一场打斗设计的不错，剧情也就这样了。称之为女性觉醒电影比较合适，整片场景设计类似于游戏关卡。最后斩首的镜头没有拍好

断断续续看了两周才看完，原班人马全部换了，故事衔接不上。是挺搞笑，就是太闹哄哄了
贵为公主 也得自己拼出一条血路 女性悲惨的一生…
公主的非凡之处大概在于血条真的很长，剧情非常简单。打戏其实很不错，可以作为女子防身术的参考，对手比你高大壮时可以攻击眼睛喉咙关节并且强力补刀。
谁说童话故事里，公主一定要嫁给素未谋面的婚配对象，甭管骑士也好王子也好，万一他残忍、反社会呢？
可以说是零剧情。一个公主要成为君王，需要历经千辛万苦踏着敌人和男人的尸体才能前进，一个男人成为国王只需要娶个老婆，也很现实了。Joey King的打戏意外的很不错，虽然一个少女手刃无数壮汉是不可能的，看着很出戏，国王爹也是爹味很重了。
屁大的王国，士兵守卫都没一个；只有五官大大的公主开挂。
大爽片，几乎无台词，无剧情，无男主。纯打。看久了未免有点累
从头追到尾打到尾，公主的体力和战斗力真是超人级别啊！🤣小女主有几分超杀女当年的模样，多给0.5分吧。
高开低走，难怪如此明显的3D效果最后选择了网络发行，动作设计不断重复，开场以女性角色占到的惊艳首发，迅速失去快感，主要演员的身手缺陷越来越明显。公主躲进澡盆的桥段翻版倩女幽魂，直接唤醒了对香港电影黄金时代女演员明艳动人的记忆，公主就会让大东亚区观众觉得，这姑娘实在不够好看。导演虽然算香蕉人，可英语似乎还不够好，人物塑造特别平庸造作，甚至有硬伤，反派质问手下“这是我问的吗？”ask只有非英语母语的人容易只当成“问”，而在英语环境里这词常用的含义是“请求”，这里恰当问句应该是换用名词question，不然英语观众反倒会产生歧义，理解不了这个梗，骄横跋扈的反派不会ask，只会tell

仿佛看见了期末被要求上交的作业 尽可能的精简 剧情无任何曲折新意甚至有些离谱 战力打不过的 就来些鸡汤意外吧 拍摄得太草率了 打扰了标题党电影
韩国电影陷入了阵容强大但无实质内容的loop
看到了加勒比和海贼王的影子
舍弃了任何背景介绍，或是提供至少可以寻找一点相吻合的时代线索；没有任何大场面，几乎都在室内建筑架设的场景里展开，简洁得都让人感到疑惑。公主两眼一睁开，不是打，就是闹。最开始的感觉以为会是《凯瑟琳大帝》的另类变种，在古装里塞下一些新鲜视角；又或者是纯正的打女型电影，为Joey King提供另重可能。但抗拒任何幽默甚至没留任何喘息空间的成片都让这两个预设没有发生，只留下数个潦草的场面；哪怕面对的是流媒体，这般成色也过于差劲。
虽然剧情简单套路到极点，但几乎从头打到尾的动作戏拍的确实很不错，大可一观。
蒽…真的很吵很尬的一部电影 全员乞丐团着装又抹黑粉很像挖煤挖了大半生被放出来的人…我认为他韩最应该放弃的影片类型一是古装（因为滤镜调色和道具质感都很劣质）二是大片（航天航海通通pass你们真的走不出好莱坞路线切拜）很可惜这部片全都占了所以不仅特效服装劣质再加上垃圾剧情所以埋了也是很正常的…打两星主要是作为韩孝周家属给的人情分（不是）我们韩姐还能活跃在荧幕上我就很高兴了 宝多多拍戏当然能挑挑剧本的话我会更感激不尽🥵
爽片。虽然剧情服饰是大乱炖，但打得好爽。公主的角色简直就是为Joey King量身定做的。一开始想给三星，但是楼梯那里打着打着看爽了加一星。
