The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 科幻外壳下的温情片，人始终在学习的是道别。
《黑镜 be right back》的禅意版，整部片子的基调和质感都好禅啊，让人想起乔布斯在空荡的房间一盏台灯下看书的场景。贼多镜头从背面拍过去，优胜美地一般的风景背景和孤独的人。任何人造的生死（延长寿命都不算），都是对人的本质的解构。
马克思说，人的本质是社会关系的总和。
题材很老套，但是处理方法会跟以前的片子有些不同，非常隽永。喜欢整体的视觉效果，颇有东方的禅意。
虽然通篇看上去心情很压抑，但看到男主死前交待完所有未尽事宜，死能瞑目也算是完美的人生结局。
生命并不只是表象部分，科学也拷贝不了人的“精要”
克隆技术可以复制肉体甚至记忆，但人类灵魂深处的东西却无法被替代，科幻的外衣下缓缓讲述着主题俗套内核却清新的爱情小品，阿里的表演扎实且细致入微。
