对于这种系列电影来说，经常遇到的一个问题是看到续集却忘了前作讲了些啥，而更糟糕的一个问题是拍的如此之烂，让人根本没有兴趣去想前作到底拍了些啥。

看电影的还是这群人，再看神奇动物时已恍如隔世，感觉过了太多年。神奇动物还是很可爱，但是情节的想象力似乎已经到了极限，只好从不丹、中国（麒麟老家）亚洲国家找灵感，可惜的是亚洲人看来毫无新意。
一个在麻瓜世界发生都会觉得稀巴烂的故事。

可是这部片子，却拍出了满满的人情味
导演连简单的调度都搞不好，干脆就多摆几个摄影机，想通过后期剪辑狂切镜位来掩盖这一点。滥用剪辑在前半部分尤为突出，看得令人心烦。
