Un film emportant, empalent, éblouissant de la mise en scène tout en ayant une voix musicale, remarquable. L’adaptation est à la fois moderne et historique. Une densité narrative est également incroyable. Bref, un film ambitieux, luxueux, poignant.

今年最正统的西部片。从故事到画面，从对白到配乐，无比复古，无比传统，在这个科恩兄弟和昆汀用各种现代手法让西部片不那么西部的时代，在被政治正确绑架的好莱坞剧本陷入低能死循环的时代，《老亨利》让人重新回到约翰韦恩和伊斯特伍德纵横好莱坞时那个传奇的西部岁月。全片不仅没有黑人，甚至没有女主，剧本如主角般隐忍而克制，但该出手时绝不拖泥带水。荒凉、冷寂、写实却不沉闷、传奇而不夸张，让人重新踏上《原野奇侠》与《不可饶恕》中那块充满生死无常、人性狡诈、传说往事、宿命传承的剽悍西部大陆。

作为电影或作为文学改编都乏善可陈，但凭故事性本身就值三星了。不知是打光还是因为对巴黎太熟悉，整个氛围有一种塑料感，没有历史质感
媒体黑历史大起底，鸭子说这锅我不背。敬巴黎，敬巴尔扎克。可怕的，肮脏的，迷醉的，黑暗的，悸动的，暗流涌动的巴黎与十九世纪！
不愧是巴尔扎克超越时代的作品，电影的改编使其对新闻界的批评更为集中化。在这个网红遍地，附庸风雅，趋炎附势，理想幻灭的世界里，如今依旧有现实意义。

法语原声+荷兰语字幕把脑子搅得天翻地覆，但还是看懂了关键的部分，甚至一些笑点也get到了。很有代入感，就像打开一本厚重的历史传记。但那时候的法国真是讲究太多，现在这种生活方式的我觉得天差地别哈哈哈。
