近年来英国二战电影的佳作。视角独特，不是讲小人物如何改变历史，而是反其道行之，讲小人物在大历史下深深的无奈，表达了一种历史宿命感，令人深思。对张伯伦的妥靖策略也重新进行了诠释。制作精良，卡司表现出色。唯有希特勒外形相差太大。8.0

抛开争议不论，电影本身拍得还是挺有感觉。以小人物反映大历史，算是一种合理想象。还有谍战片的feel。演员的表现都很不错。不过保罗为什么不去刺杀希特勒这点难以让人代入，着实没拍好。
如果不去探究历史，就这个剧情还能看。如果去探究历史，原来历史还可以这样拍。
