The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 其实拍的挺一般的，但是却能感觉到真实的崩溃。。
差不多三星半的样子，结尾有点迷。没有淹没在宏大叙事下而是体现个体悲剧才是电影的魅力所在。
只有某地喜欢宏大叙事，灾难面前只有弱小又顽强的个体
女主最后一段在警车里冲着那些警察说的话，是对现今英国政府的痛斥。
态度真诚，直接问出问题，不是随大流和歌功颂德的电影，片尾三组数据展示让人深受冲击。
把镜头放小一点，对人的打动就会更大一点。中国医生，你看到了吗
什么时候咱们这能有这样的题材？
国外电影敢拍吗？这片子也就还好。似乎人文主义是绝大多数艺术家的追求，但是艺术家的这点人文关怀和政治体制比起来多少有点可悲。一股使劲的绝望从25分钟开始到最后的失控都是令人无法欣赏的。如果把他和什么国内的垃圾比没必要，但是放在电影领域，真的一般。
小变态的演技和故事的真实性打4🌟，很多镜头很模糊，不知道是特意为之还是…

4星的故事加上1星的社会意义
演的真好。大事件下小个体的挣扎，制度框架下的个人选择，有对抗也有无奈。抛开疫情，这个故事其实也可以成立。
本来以为主题是英国初期疫情，结果后面是对社会和政府的控诉，如果结合得好 那还是挺棒的，但显然结局太赶鸭子上架了反而显得很仓促。整个看下来略显凌乱。。。
疫情背景中的作品。利物浦普通的护理院，护工和住客在“灾难”时刻的经历，温馨交织绝望。在荧幕之外，这场风波依然还在继续着，只能盼望2022会更好一些。
