The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 而且各位演员的表演也有点不平均，Lucien的演员表现还是比其他人稚嫩了不少。明明是可以拍成Barry Lydon那种史诗气质的片，可惜了。

全片几乎完全都是以提琴协奏曲或者交响曲为主的配乐，没有任何“现代感”，虽然这会在某种程度上拉高片子的观影门槛，但无疑，这是很优秀的表现方式。
标准的年代剧罢了。旁白是偷懒，男主空有皮囊。可以看看隔壁的Fabian。

“巴尔扎克原著在导演的适当改编下对社会做出的辛辣讽刺放到当下任何一个国家环境中都毫不过时（大量的独白暴露了导演只能被原著牵着鼻子而画地而趋地搬运使得电影变成了一部名著有声书）；忠于原著对人物进行了细腻刻画以及对历史的华丽复刻使得故事工整精巧（不会做减法导致整部电影的繁枝细节沉闷冗长且令人乏味）”——在海上的两个评论家如是说道。

我有点被Coralie打动了，Lucien和她之间的某种感情也很动人，她对美和艺术的追求，某种语调，以及内森的笔，某种真诚，是藏不住的吧
对我来说也是法大革命时期的风情片吧，不过不太喜欢临近幻灭时那个超现实的镜头，实在不着调
有点当初看香水的感觉了！荒诞又精致，完全不会闷
一部看了电影之后立马去翻了法语原版的片子。。
