The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 间谍片的一种新尝试？拍得跟室内情景剧一样，基本都靠角色的对白来推动故事，当然也没什么故事，就这么点事半小时就说完了，看得跟看着电视剧一样缓慢啰嗦。你说是烂片吧，镜头还挺精致，一些配菜看上去好像还不是小班子的作品；但是空洞，花架子，毫无内核。

很无聊的一个故事。弯来绕去，讲了个寂寞。女主50岁还能有如此状态，令人敬佩。
这电影名字翻译不准确，主题跟“宝刀未老”没半毛钱关系，本来还以为是老年男女特工的动作片。电影成本也是够低的，一半剧情都发生在餐厅的吃饭对话中。
镜头语言相当不错，画面传递的情节及情绪超过了台词。

剧情老套,节奏拖沓; 老阿姨搏命露点,还能更恶心吗?
亮点是叙述方式、节奏和男女主角间的张力。看到派恩我起先是拒绝的，但他在这部片子里很好，女主也很好——"What we had was real. Wasn't it?""I thought so.""Why did you run?""I think I preferred this being an interrogation.""Well, you've convinced me.""Of what?""(whispers) That you're very convincing."…"Are you okay?""(grunts) Be right back."
四星（7.9分）。悬疑气氛拿捏很好，劫机事件、民族矛盾、恐怖主义、国家安全危机，一系列宏大题材撑起了故事的前三分之二，吊足胃口，正期待一个悲怆大气的结局，没想到竟然归于男女情爱，格局一下从天上掉到了地下。故事性直降一档。导演技术是一流的，节奏把控完美，剪辑牛掰。表演满分。不失为佳作，值得一看。
克里斯派恩一周两部间谍电影上线网络，看卡司本以为这部会比《承包商》要好，想不到一个多小时看了个寂寞，一直就在餐桌上逼逼赖赖，靠口述回忆梳理线索，这是演话剧吗？
