The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 终于理解为什么小时候看会害怕了，因为没看懂。这片也确实不是拍给小孩子看的，普罗米修斯的隐喻和失去的几十年，可以想象那时的人们怀着何等的创作激情。它是幸运的，中国动画曾拥有如此出色的创意和技术，还有肉眼可见的灵魂。它又是不幸的，在结构性的无奈和产业化的困惑面前，注定昙花一现。

那时的中国动画真是艺术的凝结，毫不千篇一律，故事也是禁得起一看再看，可以当作传世寓言的。
2021年去大银幕重温了，看到了成人世界的无奈和压抑。动画果然是成人浇自己胸中块垒之作啊。美术和音乐绝赞。
老狐狸：妖怪，偷抢拐骗计谋多，怪力乱神领贼窝。
雖是給兒童看的動畫，卻處處隱含著對現實社會的批判，寓意深刻，意味深長。
纵观中国动画电影史，这部片子在当今仍不过时，它有着匠心的画面与人物设计，有趣且奇幻的故事内容，真正达到了中国动画电影追求的「奇、趣、美」。
