剧情基本就是随时能猜到下一步的片子，不差但是也没啥亮点。实在要说亮点的话，就是Jennifer Coolidge吧，仿佛在看破产姐妹，哈哈哈。
喜剧自然是喜剧的样子，再加上是圣诞温馨类片，没有什么深度就是图个乐，属于投放到欧美市场适合家人团聚看的电影（儿童不宜），好多影评拿深度、社会之类的来解读就大可不必了。故事线总体还是很可以的，合家欢的结局用圣诞喜剧的角度来评价还是很温馨的。
