The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 如此高概念的设定为电影提供了许多解读方向，但完成度并不高（很多地方都是一笔带过便没了后文）确实有故弄玄虚的嫌疑。对于new sex可能方式的探讨挺有意思，但又觉得讲得浅了些。

虽然是一个经典的柯能堡式异变故事但整部电影的质感十分干净。这一次柯能堡选择去讲述内部的腐败，一种在黑暗与未知中悄然发生的变异。这种变异是适应自然的进化还是违背伦理的改造?柯能堡留下开放式的答案，他更着迷于美和艺术在其中参与的角色。

今天第五部，临近午夜、身体不适，但依然聚精会神地看完。还是牛，但略低于预期。
k的表演真是令人惊叹，怎么还能从戴妃回退到私人采购了呢。那特殊的腔调是专门为了文艺片调整的文艺腔吗？霹雳娇娃那里面反而还正常了呢。

文艺青年型片子，想看恐怖惊悚的结果看了一堆对话…
观感为什么这么像NWR...叙事高度概念化，空间高度场景化，最后形成的表达是高度寓言化的，在一个社会构架和人的身体皆是支离破碎的境况中，唯有艺术和审美还在支持着现代性文化的框架，恰巧印证了本雅明废墟-寓言的结构。而柯南伯格，在最后用自觉进化者的眼泪，宣告了某种弥赛亚降临。一次没有加以论证的自我重复和升华。
