The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 種族之間，人為的隔離，就是世界上最大的不公。白種人的傲慢，就是自我感覺太好。自由和平等有時候的代價是巨大的，南非如此，很多地方也如是。
披着警匪片的政治讽刺片，虽然有些bug，但整体还不错

从影片中可以看出，导演和编剧带有一定的倾向性，落脚点是对种族运动的支持和同情，因此，对三名参与者在行动过程中所采取的行动，具有一定的美化意思。选取的几个角色也各有特点，三个为自由而战斗的“同志”，一个对种族问题有同情心的警察队长，一个司法部部长的女儿，具有深切的宽容、同情心，还有一个极力掩饰自己人种的混血儿等。影片的主题是把一场预先谋划的袭击案转化为一场不可预料的种族问题讨论会。
