The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 节奏流畅，情感充沛，音乐好听，乔纳森·拉森才华横溢，但也如同一块培根在生活的大铁板上忍受数不清的煎熬翻炒才有了上桌的资格。人生何其艰难，有使命感何其幸运。
电影中那首几乎磨死乔纳森的金曲《胜于话语》里，创作者问到，“恐惧还是爱？别说出答案。”
前半剪辑节奏有点凌乱无法入戏，后半渐入佳境
就是电视剧拍法，故事也是电视剧，除了美丽的衣服和布景外没啥好说的，但是我好感动，大家都很礼貌，每个人都柔和镇定，结局也很正向。不过同性线删掉真是讨厌啊
全片唯一高潮似乎就是桑德海姆的“到场“，音乐剧电影拍成剧情和歌曲完全不相融，精心设计出的歌词与画面的“同步”无法带来任何情感上的共鸣。不触及90年代真实的政治氛围、不展现舞台艺术在LGBT文化运动中的先锋性质，就永远无法正确地驱魔，没有记忆何来克服，只有浮于表面的致敬。
居然Henry全片都没有出现… 唐顿最喜欢的三个女性就是老夫人 mary她妈 mary
命运啊、时间啊、生命的尽头啊…这一切都是难以捉摸又突然地降临。无法抵抗又无可奈何。
PS：喜欢里面那个头发剃的方方正正的黑人兄弟，唱的挺有感觉的。
每次“Downtown Abbey”出现在画面里并伴随着那段经典的旋律时我的心情总是激动的。不亚于霍格沃兹出现在画面里时。编剧导演总是把美好的情绪毫不吝啬地放到这部作品里。接近尾声时，我以为会像《生活多美好》（1946）那样大家欢聚一堂圆满地在“真善美”气氛里结束，直到一个人的离去... ...“别哭了，吵得我听不到自己死了。” so long,granny.
