The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 粗糙直给，无敌光环，镰刀锄头为人民，真-公义爽片。即便过往的文化历史如何漆黑，在一个允许正义发生的土地上，总有着希望。数十年后，不知我们是否也可以挖掘拍摄那些当下被抹去名字的本土左翼律师们
客观来说电影本身并不值五颗星（当然也跟我看的版本字幕实在太糟糕有关系），然而这个事件本身反映出的印度社会的复杂性却是值得五星的。虽然中国比印度强了太多，可惜这种复杂性却仍不被允许呈现和表述。
