剧本是奔着正能量励志去的，而且只拍到大姐出道。不过老爹的一些个性已经展露无遗。只能说现实世界一定更精彩。
是啥让Richard能够在成天枪战、吸毒的社区中如此眼亮心明？难道还是因为他是教徒？

我就说这两个女儿的经历那么像大威小威，原来真的是她们的传记片，但是影片从父亲的角度出发去讲述，这是个比较独具新颖的角度可以产生不一样的看法。
虽然威尔·史密斯在奥斯卡颁奖典礼上的表现不怎么样，但由他饰演的理查德·威廉姆斯的确是一位很出色的家长。
可是抄得不好，摄影机靠理查德或者大威都不够近，难以打动人。加上夹带了不少私货，观感直线下降。

这让我回忆起小学时常看网球比赛，对其中一场李娜被小威逆转的局记忆犹新。
更好的背景故事，基本雷同的情节设置，好莱坞拍出来就一股流水线的味道，不如摔爸，远甚。
父亲的一言堂有点控制欲过分虽然是好心 努力争取到教练 俩姐妹从小就勤奋练习付出乖巧真的很棒 最后成为成功的网球运动员
角度选得好，群像塑造得好，落点也落得好。当然，故事的参考价值是相当有限的。稍微了解竞技体育的人都知道，在什么计划面前，最终比拼的都是运动员自身的天赋。史皇终于放下了自己精英的样子，也贡献了堪称自己生涯最佳的表演。
人物写得好，选择这个父亲为切入点很讨巧，但不得不承认是正确的。
为什么老是扫别人的兴

老老实实讲故事的传记片，没有很多惊喜，不过足够流畅与自然，对于「理查德」这个人物，也挖掘到一个比较合适的程度了——承上一代磨难，启下一代希望，把自己的活得像一个又累又独断的疯子。这样的教育方式，究竟是无私，还是出于自私，影片没有去过多讨论；作为威廉姆斯家族外的旁人，我们似乎也无从去指手画脚。不过威氏姐妹在网坛20余年，除了傲人的战绩，她们始终保持着的谦逊、优雅与大气，更是让她们人气长青的重要原因。想到这点，也多少能够感到，理查德对于德智教育那份执拗的用心终有所获。
看得我真的是，火从心头起，怒向胆边生，尤其是最后拿真人片段出来展示大威小威姐妹的伟大和精彩之后，片名出来“King Richard”？？？真的给我气笑了，什么玩意？？等于拍李娜片名叫《姜山传》？？女性运动员传记非得这么塑造一个男性角色？比赛是她们打的，但功劳全归爸爸？运动员成功的原因等于90%归结于“爸爸培养的得好”“爸爸目光长远”？？？就不能好好拍女性的成功？“已经够出名所以不用再拍”的屁话不成立因为显然本片造型到叙事各方面都在1:1复刻真人。没有对真实人物不尊敬的意思，但是我真的对这种明明是彻底完全的女性的成功但是男的一定要从他们的角度叙事感到非常恶心，好莱坞嘴巴上zzzq战都赢麻了结果到头来冲奥片还给我来这，真是恶心透顶。（电影本身不是完全没有优点但是仍然令我恶心）
能看出来想表达“国王”的复杂性和矛盾性，但实在是太长了，而且中后程表现形式比较重复单调
在成功励志与成长温情的主线下，还夹带了种族议题与阶层关切，《国王理查德》虽然没有突破传记片的常规模式，仍不失为一部精彩好看的电影。
