The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 加菲的影帝提名作。每年都会出一两部音乐片，但我不太感冒
和Whiplash之间差100个La La Land
无法接受歌这么难听的音乐电影。男主不真诚的演技看得我汗毛倒立。
用Jon自己的音乐剧《Tick, Tick...BOOM!》改编成了他自己传记片，形式很妙。电影形式的紧迫感非常明显，LMM本就是把握节奏的一把好手。只不过感觉，好像还是情绪不够。原版《Tick, Tick...BOOM!》音乐剧live单独拎一首歌出来，都比电影里表现的情绪强烈得多。或许是因为电影有一个情绪递进的需要？还是因为加菲在唱歌的表达上不如音乐剧演员？或者是一切的表现都还过于流于形式？||给三星完全是因为在一个好片的要求上看这部有些低于预期了。但是跨到四星去的话，以这部电影的呈现感觉尚不够。
天才总是孤独的。音乐剧的形式，确实不讨喜。。。
前半段很寻常的一步一步来叙事甚至在视听语言上没什么亮点，后面则直接爆发，也对应了标题吧

2比1有趣诶，看着看着发现老夫人是真的要去世了，提到马修猝不及防但是，马修真的是玛丽唯一真爱吧。再拍就又要打仗了，应该不会再拍了吧。看到最后的葬礼，一下子想起看唐顿故事有十几年了诶，故事中的新时代真的开启了，故事外的观众也能接受结局了。

生活和舞台的虚实切换非常棒，浓缩了生活流，也渲染了情绪。而且作为歌舞剧来说，歌是真的都好听。
30岁就开始倒数人生了吗，真是让人害怕。cage or wing，ask for birds；fear or love，ask for yourself.
孙女是不是《神奇动物在哪里》的女主角？
Movie of the year. A blessing for any theatre/musical lover or idealist. Story about 90s, Broadway, New York, creativity, love, fear, time, and life. Don’t mind Lin’s rusty directing, the emotions are so raw. R.I.P. Stephen Sondheim, who passed away just after the release of this film. We all have, and will always have a song unsung.
电影剧情就是套路励志片嘛，歌曲一般吧，算不上多好听。
满满都是情怀分，唐家屯的配乐经典永流传。大家都老了。好多年没追，没想到这一集正赶上毒舌奶奶辞世，玛丽正式接棒。好多曾经形单影只的角色双宿双飞，二小姐现在比大小姐美多了。
所以现在是白人只配和黑人做朋友，交个女友也得是有色人种。其他白人都要均匀肤色，才可以出镜？编排流畅没问题，看着尴尬症都要发作了，实在看不下去，这么高的评分，是因为歌好听吗？电影不是MV，不是唱跳拼凑，故事是什么？剧情在哪里？
更勿论90年代独有的那般复杂的社会环境和特殊的政治氛围。
