The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 就基本上是故技重施吧，从第一部的个人意识觉醒，到这一部的集体意识。好在很欢乐、很好听。
其实总是有选择的，只是我们从没勇气去做出对的选择。
我发现我越来越讨厌考拉，延续第一部骗人的套路，然后众人为他解围，看似欢乐圆满，其实恶臭的一批。我在这部中很同情狼，疼爱女儿，女儿被开除，难道不该拿考拉出气吗？最后你们一伙人霸占了人家的剧场又唱又跳，还把人逮捕了，我也没看出狼犯了什么罪。给三星全凭最后的太空演出，希望环球影城能在剧场推出同款。
故事较为低幼，版权是真舍得花钱，没能在院线感受欧美金曲属实遗憾。

故事差点又怎么样，依然是一场肆意挥霍音乐与色彩的视听盛宴，太爱这种奢侈了
真真假假虚虚实实 演员刻画人物还是到位的 几场光影交错的戏很耐看
剧本立意太差了，本来是一个很好的机会讲讲音乐剧制作背后的艰辛，非要立一个脸谱化的反派，把真正的出品人描写成一个狼心（literally）狗肺，没有逻辑的反派，最后把别人资源嫖完了走了，实属无语。音乐好听，但浪费了前传立起来的角色们。
相比第一部简直是断崖式下跌，不仅剧情变得苍白幼稚，矛盾冲突和突破自我诸如此类无聊情节轮番上演，歌曲也再没有my way这种契合人物历程的优秀作品，倒是pop口水歌充斥全片，歌词无非就是励志梦想。

The simple construction of good vs. evil: the good guys always prevail against all odds even if it makes no logical sense and the obstacles are not real obstacles, just mere discouragement, and the evil guy's motivation is just to oppose the good guys. Incredibly silly, and the selection of songs is tacky.
