The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 创作者们都知道了要写自己了解的事才能打动人，于是越来多的作品就是聚焦于创作过程本身……歌太密了吧，还挺洗脑的，让情绪一直跟着节奏律动，故事虽陈旧还是能让人投入其中。
和Whiplash之间差100个La La Land
“用爱发电意难平”，创作大概率是这个世界上性价比最低的事情。没有所谓的一分耕耘一分收获。你以为创新是魅力四射的事情——但其实人们，或是说商业眼光，从来比你想象中要守旧传统。
每一个演员都唱功了得。独白部分都很赞。最喜欢的三首歌是Boho、Sunday和come to your senses。估计没人能对它们说不吧。
用音乐剧讲述音乐剧people创作音乐剧的故事，音乐剧people真是太……算了不说了，多说多错得罪人。
所以现在是白人只配和黑人做朋友，交个女友也得是有色人种。其他白人都要均匀肤色，才可以出镜？编排流畅没问题，看着尴尬症都要发作了，实在看不下去，这么高的评分，是因为歌好听吗？电影不是MV，不是唱跳拼凑，故事是什么？剧情在哪里？
音乐剧这拨人艺术感觉太好了。生命短暂，你留下传奇
三星半。剧作的部分不错，是我喜欢的一种结构，也是我去年琢磨最多的一种写法，依赖于形式感，这个剧本更显得完美，细节的衔接很好，这样显得剪辑也很自然。尽管最主要的内容感觉还是歌舞片类型老生常谈的内容，但确实做到了一种成熟的处女作扎实和轻盈兼具的气质。加菲的表演没有能够走出以前遗留下来的影子，舞台上的部分仍然和《天使在美国》那套戏一样，不过歌舞的部分他的肢体还是很好看的。
肉眼可见的那种好看，时刻感受着扑面而来的热爱与执着，生活与事业，友情和爱情，相互对照彰显出「人生处处是舞台」的真谛，歌舞不错，加菲表演出彩。
穷困潦倒还能一片赤诚追逐梦想，真羡慕，真佩服。

以为奋斗，其实是故事
不熱衷音樂劇，也不關注百老匯，很多隱藏彩蛋get不到。當勵志故事看三星半。
电影还行吧。但乔纳森的经历更让我触动，他在《吉屋出租》开演之前就去世了，这让他成为一位最纯粹的艺术家和理想主义者。
