The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 重点是事件驱动而抛弃时间上的连贯动感，以一粒粒个体的事件折射这个群体生存状态，将角色置于广角大背景下，无视叙事连贯使得感受更加流动，其实还蛮不喜欢这片的配乐，似乎增加了一丝不真实感，把我从这个故事里更加抽离出来无法浸入
“水无形而有形,无物而容万物”——水作为传统的女性性别符号，尤其是东方女性，象征着协调、温润、灵动、没有棱角、却充满着韧性和力量、也从不停歇。在这部电影里，无论是影像风格、内容、主角性格都体现着这一点。

气氛还是有点味道的，不过始终对这种散文式电影没啥感觉。
看到Fern处理掉回忆里所有不舍得丢弃的物品这段，她回到和Po以前的家，后窗有一大片荒地，直到远处的山脚下。我在想，人存在世上的价值到底是什么。

赵婷身兼数职的确保证了个人表达的一致性，但也因此而失去了更好的可能，至少在剪辑方面是有一些可以改善的地方的。
画面好美，很多单元都很感人。
人和大自然有种天然的亲近，这种亲近大过人和城市，在没有城市以前，人住洞穴、草房、石屋的时间总和远大于城市（我编的）
都不会像你想象的那样好
我承认我欣赏水平底，打我看电影起就对这种类型的电影接受不能。
不止于公路片，不是漫无目的地追求自由，而是除了自由已一无所有。
你看起来举止怪异，只是因为你比其他人更勇敢和诚实。动人的不仅是情怀，还有绝佳的演技。
3-2 等不到电影院上映了，所以直接下载看了（结果后来导演又被cancel）。看完之后才后知后觉电影的余味，就真的是无依无靠到处流浪，年老力衰没有金钱，子女也在他们自己的世界里好好生活着。
