The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 拍得有点“卡通”，但这部电影……或者应该说是这个故事里被侮辱与损害的人，以及这位律师，真的非常了不起。

6.6/10。1990s印度：主线是低种姓男主一家因种姓歧视而被恶警当作一起「政客珠宝失窃案」的替罪羊折磨，以及正义律师为男主辩护并获得成功。在这起案件的叙事过程中也揭露了低种姓因种姓歧视而被恶警各种当替罪羊的社会现象。总的来说故事有点意思（虽然律师被脸谱化且反派被强行降智），视听上则是很标准的陈词滥调（叙事节奏明显被过量歌舞和一些无关紧要的支线剧情拖慢）。
严格来说，本片是达不到这样高的分数的。但就题材和意义而言，它完全值得100分。印度都能拍出这样的电影了，真的大受震撼。
过誉之作，题材好、底层故事好，跟电影好完全是两码事。用这种浮夸bgm+略带中二的方式呈现这么沉重的题材，个人接受无能。电影表达也板正平庸，没什么可说的，白白浪费一个好题材，甚至可以说是拍得相当肤浅，流于表面。
我想说，印度电影的进步，逐日一般迅猛啊-----影片的主题是“很满意自己根据良心做出的决定”。
社会环境感觉跟这个时代有点脱节…1.0的直白和煽情，always一言不合就唱跳…8.7分 ？就这？？really ？？？这还是豆瓣吗…另外也忒tm长了
