The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 好老土的剧情，像二十年前才有的设定，但很好做梦。

故事带有明显的种族议题，糖果人身上遗传着黑人对白人的恨意，但似乎需要有一定了解才能有所感触。
飞机上看个乐，但也乐不出来啊，这剧情从开头到结尾都牵强地让人难受
俗套到甚至没有跌宕起伏，但也许现在的生活就需要一点俗套。（结尾的爱情群像更为感人）

1992年《糖果人》的续集，曾执导《逃出绝命镇》《我们》的乔丹·皮尔担任编剧，乔丹·皮尔作为本片编剧，对影片的风格产生了显而易见的影响，黑人种族议题贯穿全片。
主创应该是真的相信爱情才会在2020年代拍这么土的电影
猴爪这回在视听上的全新尝试非常成功，对于镜子的运用比之前的隐形人巧妙太多，但是——本人对于全方位三百六十度无死角政治正确的忍耐程度也到底了，实在没法享受其中。
男主欧文是不是打过针了……脸都肿成猪头了……

本来就是一场不好笑也不怎么好听的老套爱情喜剧，谁知道遇到了欧文威尔森面瘫的表演，让观感更是急转直下。
