以为是和扑克比赛有关的剧情，其实内核是反对监狱暴力和部队黑暗面，不过整体有种闷闷的气氛，男主的选择有种鱼死网破的决绝。能算牌的概率，却无法掌控自己的人生啊。
他的这个造型真的有时候看着太奇怪了，感情线也很潦草，吻戏也要嘴角往下撇，像鲶鱼，哈哈哈。男二演的也不好。
要说乏善可陈倒也不是，本片努力的在标榜我不是流水线爆米花，还夹杂了虐囚事件，PTSD等现实关怀，但是整体非常闷，看完也没有什么想回味的点，高不成低不就的样子（奥斯卡伊萨克太有型了）
7.5分，一部看似绝望却充满希望的电影，气质是另一个维度的《出租车司机》，奥斯卡伊萨克太有魅力了我的天！
被训练成变态的男主角，在复仇和玩牌的双线故事中无论哪个都不出彩。
仍能看到些美国电影的旧日荣光，当然不觉得足以和Taxi Driver相提并论，详细不展开了。期待施拉德还会与斯科塞斯合体搞创作，不是老马挂个制片名头的这种。
3.5/节奏慢需要耐心。赌博只是业余爱好，施暴者一系列创伤后应激障碍才是主要。

好久没看过这么男的电影了…以及这么尴尬的对话。证明出租车司机真的无法复刻。
就，看到最后二三十分钟前其实都还不错，结尾拍的太空了（？就让整部电影显得有点弱智起来……
同茨威格的《象棋的故事》一样，你以为在讲技艺，其实在讲对人性的屠杀。这么好的题材，怎么拍得跟赌圣一个样？

一开始觉得声音和监狱走廊的拉伸感蛮好的（质地接近升级版的广角麦芽糖？），但后来感觉这些乍看新奇的东西被很多倒胃口的设计拖下水了（比如说那种近似中国城市夜景的灯光秀）…… 在保罗施拉德的作品里比较次等。
