The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 为凯奇量身定做的一部电影，调侃了他的窘境，也回顾了他的辉煌过去，话题性拉满，娱乐性也很高，正式当下需要的内容。

（8.3/10）Monetizing nostalgia but actually done it right. 《天才不能承受之重》是尼古拉斯·凯奇在终于清偿完债务之后的情感释放，是在轻松基调下对其演艺生涯奇特走向的回顾，是一个演员的自恋、自嘲和自我致敬，并凭借此片重夺人生话语权。正如片中所说，这是一部“以角色为主导的成人剧情惊悚谍战”动作喜剧。《天才不能承受之重》在不同类型间切换，半真半假，诚恳中透着戏谑，欢乐里带着伤感，走心的地方搞笑，搞笑的地方走心，和人生一样，像一盆大杂烩。
7/10。看的上一部凯奇作品正好是《我心狂野》，落魄演员凯奇和当年的巨星凯奇对话，无比怀念却依然要故作诙谐给粉丝和观众强调that's my job，果然喜剧的内核都是悲剧。

其实是很套路的电影，只不过让凯奇去演凯奇算是比较新颖的点，还有，我会去看帕丁顿熊2的

与其说是翻身之作，不如说拍这部片子是为了告诉粉丝，自己真的很爱电影，自己也真的很努力。希望凯奇后面能接到大制作，迎来事业第二春吧。
不得不说还行啊，黑色幽默不说，还让我对帕丁顿熊感兴趣了。
