The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 真实历史太残酷。这个片子只是切入了一点已经非常揪心了。
立意没问题，故事逻辑有点奇怪，觉得主角性格不太清晰…而且故事发展围绕着的别墅…要么就别让观众看到，要么看到了之后颠覆观众认知，主要还是没激起兴趣…所以就只有主题能得分…其余就那样吧
起始于动人心魄的背景，终止于高开低走的故事。宏观层面的少数族群问题，微观方向的悬疑推案剧情，都算浮泛之谈。虽基于一段政治氛围冷冽且严酷的历史，但影片的视角还是有些狭隘了，批判精神可见一二，奈何这次电影人声讨极端主义的檄文落笔却不够有力。
『人不能对什么都感到恐惧，尤其是为了自由』。爱情觉醒的甜蜜和铁幕阴影下的巨大恐怖，两者强烈的对比更让人觉得意难平，在观感上弥补了一些故事悬疑情节方面的零碎和寡淡。
男主的选择太顺撇了，或者导演有意想表达的就是潜意识发现之旅，各方面都很中规中矩
对人性的扼杀，就像80年代的波兰一样毫无生气，灰暗，寒冷。

设定和感情线很有意思，审讯室和喝酒那两段氛围营造的很暧昧，但悬疑感很弱，结尾处理的太草率了，是那种很快就会忘掉的电影。（苦笑）不过男主真的越看越好看～3.5🌟

挺平淡，也挺真实的
刺破黑幕，后面是幽深的渊薮。贯穿两个板块很勉强，可惜。
