The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情真的很普通，但是画面很清新、配乐很好听
成长的疼痛文学拒绝了矫情的抒发，反之用人物的动作、海边的大远景代替。青春的少年少女有着做梦的时间，是一部不怎么搞笑的心灵抚慰剂。
有些事，不敢说，是因为我们无法完全信任亲人；有些时候，我们忽略朋友，是因为我们以为此刻遇到了难得的缘分；而有些人，即使陪我们走过夏日，但终究真的就是过客，再难忘也要释怀，放下，才能轻松前进。最后，还是那些愿为我们付出的人，一直留在身边，我们也应该用心爱他们。然后带着爱，寻找爱。
