The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 其实一般这种台词电影我是很难看下去的，但是剧本太工巧了，我一直在看要怎么推进两者的关系又不显得无聊或刻意，但事实就是做得都很好，最后上升的爱自己的身体这个点也很好

艾玛汤普森大胆的表演，值得她在今年的颁奖季拿下奖杯，影片全靠对话来推进精致的剧情，又不让觉得老套，勇敢的探寻了少有前人探索的题材，不必为衰老的肉体和容颜的伤身，也别羞于谈性，性能带来的快乐，overrated but necessary。如果说有什么流俗的地方，其实还是，如果不加那一点点的感情，编剧也怕观众接受不了纯粹的性。
“你想看到一个broken whore吗？现在你看到了。 ”人类的本质是孤独，不管外在表现的多么优雅、克制，不管对方能给予多大的愉悦，内心最深处的裂痕终是需要自己去粉刷，然后和解。

艾玛阿姨的表演大师班，小牛郎也配合默契，真希望那场角色扮演的戏能出个番外，抛开衰老欲望这些话题，安心谈性。

#Sundance2022 Emma Thompson: can't believe this kind of film is only being made in 2022. It was very freeing to work on this film.
后边的两次会面，在我看来有点过于把买春这件事理想化了。Thompson一厢情愿地去发掘男妓的真实身份，要和他做朋友，实在荒唐……但也许是符合这个角色，是这个天真的老古板干得出来的？和女服务员的对手戏就让我觉得太over，像过于刻意地喊出个口号。
所以点一次需要多少钱，完美恋人就在付费网站也不是不行

话剧式的大段台词让我总觉得在看nt live ，那些情欲，那些冲突，那些唠叨，那些漫不经心，一切都让人微醺，最后彻底断片，午夜梦回时，你又会想起，然后仿佛昨日重现，终究在早上九点的人海里消失不见。
