Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.

只是从藏区支教，中国精准扶贫，西部地区教育发展这几个点来说，我觉得有点纪录片影子。但是如果把他当作一步电影作品来讲，我是不太认可的。首先故事矛盾激化体现在男主的选择上，太薄弱，其次整体叙事平直无任何亮点，好在实景拍摄和角色扮演设定表现还不错，让人会有一定带入感。导演用了不到一个小时就想把设定为伟大的支教老师的形象树立起来，其中还穿插爱情，国家扶贫等元素，实在是太难了。这类电影，可做小而美，不做大而泛
属于林克莱特私人的另一版《少年时代》，前半段流行文化跑马灯以及一系列童趣元素不乏怀旧范。亦或也可以与2019年那三部电影——《好莱坞往事》《爱尔兰人》以及《极速车王》一起组成美国1960s风情画。
值得观看的电影，感觉挺适合在学校放，或者一家人一起看的。
挺有意思的电影，展示了60～70年代一个标准的美国家庭的所有生活细节。一大家子七八口人，节俭的父母想尽一切办法省钱。妈妈会在省钱的同时每天做饭不重样。爸爸看电影会在车里藏小孩逃几张票，偷邻居家的木板，加油时一滴不漏。
哪怕是动画电影，主题内容依旧是典型的Richard Linklater，但这样的剧情却会缺少情感共鸣，对于类型电影来说是重要的一点。三星。
以虚构的少年登月计划抒发编导对上世纪60年代童年回忆的怀旧之情。虽然经历不尽相同，但对少年观察世界的角度和对未知事物的好奇心是能够感同身受的。

娓娓道来的一次怀旧的时光，大事件与我们的生活其实多么不相干，却又影响着一代人的成长。
虽然那是与我毫无关联的美国60年代，但对于我这样喜欢怀旧的人来说看这部片子就好像吞下了一片能够穿越时空的胶囊，把我拉回童年少年时的岁月。我也曾在看北京奥运会开幕式时睡着，醒来的时候差点错过点火。汶川地震后和家人一起去人声鼎沸的广场“避难”，心里却是为这从来没见过的景象感到兴奋。时间就这样晃啊晃，晃到现在微博炸号豆瓣禁言，那些”载入史册“的事件变得离我愈发遥远，我只想偶尔沉浸在回忆当中，去回访一下那些阳光灿烂的日子。那些记忆依然鲜活，所以我的心里还常怀希望。
【3星半】有点失望，就是一部对上个世纪六七十年代美国社会风貌的滤镜回忆，以一个孩童的眼光，来看待周遭太空竞备大环境下的国情民生，融杂了很多带有（美国人）记忆点的印象元素，但要不是那个国家那个年代亲身经历过来的，很难有更深一层的感悟和感慨。

超喜欢这个画风，说不出为什么，对这部电影非常喜爱。
琐碎对白撑起的自传电影，一般适合在电视上当纪录片放放。

三星半，他的动画风格一直还挺有特点的。登月的部分自然是比地面上对于青少年时期的怀旧要有趣一些。沉湎于创造“全人类”的成就和不断回忆可能是出于同一种心理。
为数不多没有开启倍速看完的电影之一，其实可以出个第二部，以朗措作为男主角演绎一下他的一生

果然每个人最后的渴望都是对自己的少年时代进行一场漫长的告别。
