The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? #Oscar2022# 这部充满乡愁的电影今天看正合适。导演的私人记忆，故事性相对比较弱一些；摄影有几分功力，不觉得造作，构图反而引起极度舒适，截图甚至可以做摄影的学习素材；移民的主题在情感上引起强烈共鸣，但这一点因人而异，也许评分因此更为主观。
演母亲的演员有点像莫妮卡·贝鲁齐和苏菲·玛索的集合体。
导演的戏剧出身，决定了他的风格，包括布景，台词，调度，音乐。也极其出色，尤其是爷爷和小主角的演技。
连预告片都不用看，一看海报和片名就知道这片就是照着《罗马》拍的……那就没什么意思了。试图模仿和复刻别人的风格，让这部电影从构思阶段就开始失败了。
若把此片看成是一部私家回忆，那确是很好了。

5.女主真无语😑，哭哭哭，最烦了，再好看整天又哭又闹都烦得很，父母商量事情就在孩子面前，要给孩子听，就叫醒了一起说清楚，不给孩子听就tm滚远点说，夫妻吵架也在孩子面前吵，什么玩意父母，虽然男主女主都互爱，对孩子也挺好，但是也有不完美的地方
