The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 为报旧主恩而寻子，其崇高的、英雄式的意义却不断被稀释、消解，难掩英雄迟暮之意。虽然得出人生无意义的感慨，但同时对生活本身保持着热忱，比如美好的风光、跨上马背的感觉、孩童和女人。
老头没了年轻的锐气，好在脾气仍在。macho表演满分。
还是一如既往的温和与英雄迟暮，可惜这部《Cry Macho》除了剧作规整之外也没有什么其他闪光之处了，东木头仍有精力自导自演是一件很令人钦佩的事情，只是在不断地重复的同时也能发觉越来越力不从心，I don't know how to cure "old."。

老爷子演技不错 剧情节奏太拖沓了 不如预期的好看
醇厚、舒缓的特质弥漫在整部电影里，如沐春风。
老爷子的这部新片不像一部电影，更像是一位91岁的老人在为你讲述他的人生智慧。
东木竟然还能演戏，出乎意料，可惜这部的故事有点无聊，但东木老人的戏只能且看且珍惜了。
牛仔大爷太老了，他刚一出场我都不相信自己的眼睛，全片充满了烈士暮年的感觉，也象征着牛仔精神的没落。
我怕这就是他的最后一部作品，他自己似乎就这么想的。
看一部少一部了。珍惜吧。
91岁，老了，温和了（嘴炮骂人怎么更利索了呢），但却依旧拥有漂亮女人。羡慕老爷子的坦诚。
全年龄级温情西部片，希望老牛仔身体健康，拍到100岁。
这是一个真善美的儿童片吧？片头的pure American country music 倒是不错啊。

东木老大爷真是劳模啊！强扭的西部片没有灵魂。
三星半。老爷子出手质量还是能保证的，一老一少一只战斗鸡，一段穿越边界线的旅程，这部片子里善良的人比较多。
