The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. Santiago好像搞砸了每件事，但正如朋友说的，那是他对每件事都太努力，太想爱，人生始终缠绕在童年缺失的爱的阴影下，所以对每个人都付出的精疲力竭，而爱又是相互的，太多的爱会压垮另一方。结尾场景不再摇摇晃晃，语调也平和了很多，叔算是找到了新的生活。ps有个懂你的朋友太好了。

能够感受到他孤独的内心。这个社会对他来说只有责任。而他心底只想有一个家，一片港湾。所以他在炮友身上寻找仅有的一点温暖。所以他会这么不知廉耻的去打扰前任的生活。这是一个漂泊无依的人，就像前几年的我一样。
貌似谁的生活都是一团乱麻，生活中的不堪，与面对未来的迷惘交织在一起，貌似没有前途和希望。但故事没有那么好看。
Get到北村匠海后第一部他的片，除了在黎明时分的巷子里一起奔跑那里有过一下心灵共振，其他我都觉得有点意味不明。嘛，社会新人，平淡生活，也不需要什么意味就是了。黑岛结菜真好看啊但是出轨少妇什么的完全进入不了，听北村声音蛮享受的。
什么都想讲点什么都没讲好的典型，直白又肤浅，生活的一点无奈和哀愁被翻来覆去说了无数遍，直到索然无味。演员也选的不对：北村匠海极度缺乏生活感和情欲感，根本不适合这个角色。エイリアンズ这首歌最近出现频率好高。

韩国的喜剧片好带感，我好喜欢这种清狗血的剧情，毫不油腻
一见钟情光速告白马上同居什么的，果然是年轻人搞暧昧谈恋爱做得出来的事。后来笔锋一转，变成了人气出轨小年轻，果然是日本喜欢拍的故事。不过其实这个片子讲的是踏进社会之后所面对的理想和现实的落差。黑岛结菜有点帅气的美。就是床戏有点尴尬。

挺好玩的，故事简单，也可以说没有故事，每段场景都蛮搞笑的，一点也不尬，也没有瞎煽情。我也不知道那些跟院线上亿大片去对标打一两星的都是什么心态。实际七八十分的水平，多打一颗星拉拉分。
令人煎熬的电影，导演到底想说啥...我真的好久都没有看过这么尴尬无聊的喜剧片了...散场时候我前排一个大哥还睡得特别香，还是我朋友叫醒他的哈哈哈！(⊙x⊙;)
虽然我爱豆脑子瓦特了，但是这时隔许久推的电影很不错；虽然很深的东西也没有，但是剧本比较实、节奏老练成熟，非常舒服，一查发现导演之前是演员，这貌似是第一部长片？了不起。
最喜欢的居然是女儿跳舞，妈妈弹琴
