The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 导演比男主年纪还小，怎么可能拍得好这个主题啊？对男人和生活的理解都还很肤浅。拍摄做爱的体位很假，床戏都很尴尬，没有人类高潮之后会是那幅表情的。
只有两个片段还有回忆，其它的太聒噪了……

既然生而矛盾，为什么不干脆放手，随心而过。全片对女儿的羁绊，很清晰。总是有那么一两件事，千钧一发吊着你，让你甘愿妥协于生活，砥砺前行。

两场性爱，细微的、似乎相似而又完全不同。太困了，看了欢却差点没看到悲切。喜欢的人，就是什么都好；什么也无所谓。

还真是全剧静心看完了才明白为啥取这么个剧名，爱情总是无缘由的，爱与不爱，左右得了自己，左右不了别人。对？错？谁能说得清呢？

三星半，先看了东北告别天团再看这部，人物有惊喜，加半星鼓励
理解不了情绪不稳定的人的各种行为。想要感同身受，无法静下心来体会。
不是很能融入进去的感觉，部分台词和表达情绪的方式不是很理解，男二伤心的样子还是很帅的，最后结尾有些烂。
