Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
一开始就猜到凶手，但没想到Book和侍女也会被杀，有些可惜，爱让人疯狂
跟老版比起来，除了场景更恢弘之外，其他地方都处理得很弱，人物、剧情、情绪统统没有，完全不像一部悬疑侦探片，更像是一出舞台剧，但又不如舞台剧。
2.盖尔加朵也老了
第一次看《尼罗河上的惨案》。开头的战争戏不明所以，几段歌曲也不甚动听，无非还是阿婆的原著故事太过如雷贯耳。

说到底，还是香港的动作片团队扎实。
後面反轉有點生硬。
发现本剧中的每一个角色我都不认识了，尤其是奥特布恩太太，居然成了一名黑人舞台歌手。应该说演员们的演技都在线，布景和摄影也在线，只是我，慢慢的失落。
抄写都不及格，改编也不会！虽然故事还是那个故事，但导演为什么偏要去其精华！人物都没刻画好！影片中途一度睡过去了…
话说，看了那么多部网大，这部的造型和人设倒是最适合谢苗的。
总体还是可以一看，但是许多地方有些突兀，拍得有些流水，特效五毛。盖尔加朵烂片女王？
景儿整挺好，歌儿也还不错，就是演技一般还有些地方太刻意，强加的政治正确也有点倒胃，选角还可以
比东方快车好点，主要是艾玛麦基对得起她戏份很重的角色。其他不足仍和上一部同样的毛病，群戏脸谱化，波罗塑造已经到一种可笑的状态。肯尼爵还借角色吐槽波罗自大自恋的，阿婆的侦探从来没有大过案子，肯尼爵对自己的角色可不是这样。肯尼爵和迈克格林就应该继续去超英片扶贫，别再拍阿婆了。
这部电影真的不至于6分这么低。光是风景的拍摄，把它当成埃及旅游宣传片也是没有问题的。服化道也还不错。可能豆瓣上原著粉太多了，电影很难完美呈现小说里的细节。加朵的造型没有我想象的美，女二倒是吸引到我了。
没看过阿婆原著（马上补课！），但童年时隐隐约约看过78老版。肯爵毁完《东快》又来毁这部，通篇匠气太重、平铺直叙，毫无悬疑感，给胖菠萝居然还加了动作戏，醉了。也就是埃及美景宣传片吧！
不愧是“上世纪”的经典电影，布拉纳爵士和他镜头里的波洛一样自恋。研究审查尺度都比研究本片来得有趣，你永远无法知道什么时候同性情节可以过审，什么时候不能。
虽然截至现在的这两部翻拍反响一般，但已树立了统一的风格。
神奇女侠、《傲骨之战》女主、《老友记》Emily的妈、锤哥、《性教育》女主……这么多优秀的、知名的演员，拍出来个这？男主你不说是侦探我还以为是咆哮帝呢😅
依旧是群戏，东方快车波洛是大把胡须，这部里就没胡子了。开篇黑白片说一战，逝去的世界和旧时繁华，没看过原著，服化道还行吧。
阿加莎老奶奶特殊爱情的小迷妹啊，影片整个前半段就是英伦穿衣小百科。
