The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 小妞电影，全都落在套路之中，比直男爽片还要简单粗暴，东京夜景霓虹闪烁、充斥电子乐和未来感，很适合这种孤胆英雄的绝命题材。
卧槽，别被评分给迷惑了。一个杀手生命中最后12个小时的自我救赎之旅，动作戏很爆表，很有杀神john wick的感觉，喜欢疾速追杀肯定也喜欢这一部，非常的酷，把日本真的拍得非常“霓虹”国，灯光色彩都非常讲究。喜欢动作片的影迷不容错过！
这片里的日本人绝对是我看过的英语说得最好的一群吧。
还算是合格的暴力动作片，不过这次是女版基诺李维斯。
牙套妹前一场戏：we are pretty much the same; 下一场：啊，我的脸上有血，完了宝宝要哭了。再加上赛博朋克这一套审美疲劳，演员风格：没有风格，真是不知道比《火药奶昔》差多少倍。
这个设定，非要人之将死，就不对，为什么女性角色的John Wick就不能不死呢，还是歧视啊
女主长得挺英气。剧情好一般。我现在都不知道，为社么女主会认为是木岛对他下毒的，虽然和她嘿咻的那个男的说是木岛，但毕竟知道她的是她的搭档才对。
好糟糕的片。女主如果是日本人的话，只是普通烂片，故事发生在日本，女主一美国人，搞得全片到处英文，出现的日本元素完全没融入剧情，并没有尊重只是强行拼接（灰色和室？）。其他日本演员都挺好，唯独小女孩表演超烂（日文还有口音），她的镜头和剧情还特多，存在就很烦。动作戏让人不耐烦，女主杀一片全靠对手弱鸡，偶尔试图走心只流于表面，节奏稀烂（被下毒的那一夜最莫名），反转是最传统的套路。不如看Jolt。
女孩子打架真好看啊！好看的女孩子应该多打架！
这剧本真水，看到开头第一幕就知道这俩都死就是最后一幕。

开头猜到结尾，星矢上身的女主角，不知道想要说啥。
全景声效果出众，枪林弹雨玻璃碎裂，是认真设计过的；众多夜景也将HDR的优势充分发挥，霓虹幻彩。
不是所有想演打戏的女明星都能做到查理兹塞隆在极寒之城 Atomic Blonde (2017)里曾做过的那种酷。
这种开头就让人猜到反派的剧情实在俗套，不过一上来就残血的设定比较少，看个霓虹，看个打架，看个女孩救女孩也还行。
这杀手的血条也太长了。。。好在对这种电影只要看杀杀杀就够了，在迪迦都被ban的当下，不知道还有多少机会看这种电影。。。。即使一开始就猜到伍迪的身份，好歹还有个日本妹子不错

这个结局女主似乎没有活路？一直以为有金手指特效药治疗她。四星给利落的造型以及血腥场面，小女孩也很有个性
