The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 很喜欢任务人被抓住之后被医生开膛破肚深入挖掘血液四溅最后掏出一只虫子婴儿的场景。

很可惜的一点就是故事弱于画面了，不知道是不是因为三十年前的设想在今日已经屡见不鲜……但真的，好佩服啊，好佩服！
业余创作是挑战一个人恒心韧性的事情，完成mad god这样的动画要30年的长度、一辈子都不一定够、但业余创作最大的意义就是可以无视商业和观众的存在，为自己而做、纯粹又真炽、稀缺又疯狂、就有可能成为传奇
疯了，神经兮兮又恶心得不得了的定格动画，隐喻的东西不好妄加猜测。
给四星，是因为丰富无比的场景和各种各样的怪物，以及是定格动画，很不容易。

扭曲过后的世界或许就是这样血腥荒诞……疯神并不是神，而是异化了的人类自己
真抽象，充满了各种宗教元素，话说国外真的喜欢化用圣经故事
动画做出了许多真人无法通过演绎表达的东西，怪诞的作画也能看出许多对人类的隐喻，可整部电影的连贯性并不强，前半部分的惊艳到了最后也变成了空虚。

4.5 屈服于美术！Diesel punk的极致！各种手法的拼贴让人想起Dave Mckean的插画 定格动画这个载体本身已经很能代表质量了 即使只是堆叠起来的片段 叙事什么的都不重要了——
想象力爆棚的异界观光片，但是又感觉导演在表达什么内涵。拍的好 怪，再看两眼🆘。
