The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 表面与内心，真的是天与地……
盖里奇犯罪片式开场，套路满满但笑得停不下来。剧情联想起《卑鄙的我》和《超级大坏蛋》，这类反类型合家欢动画是我的菜，太适合周末晚上了。
真是一言难尽的观影体验，就好像海报上谢霆锋和甄子丹被怒火二字分开，割裂的无以复加，就很难想象他们之前是怎样共事的。在回忆中，刚敖那一队人身上个个带着戾气，看得出刑讯逼供是家常便饭，而崇邦呢，则是公正廉明，一板一眼。这样两队人马，不互相倾轧已经是难得了，又怎么会走的那么近？强拧的人物设定，没有丝毫说服力。大决战时，警方人马受伤倒地，崇邦眼睛都不眨，照常冲锋，刚敖却是有情有义，依依惜别，一时间，我竟分不清谁才是反派。更别提结尾刚敖身上闪烁着一堆“萤火虫”，理想，道义，背叛，屈辱，说不出的悲壮，明明是双雄的戏码，却只有刚敖一人的光辉，崇邦像一个会发表正义言论的打架机器人，日常宣讲全是好听的，真下手的时候连上帝的面子都不给。飞车，爆破，武打，样样俱全，可是你我都知道，他恰恰欠缺港片最动人的那些东西。
来抓一点本世纪初香港警匪片最后的荣光吧。时隔四年标记老谢新片，感谢陈木胜导演终于给他安排了一个最适合的角色。😭
没有电影看的日子里，烂片也被打上高分，坏蛋照照镜子“顿觉面目可憎”然后就觉醒了，懒得评论，真是山中无老虎，狒狒来称王……
有点像《疯狂动物城》，都是传统的正派形象被反转。但大灰狼很轻易的放下屠刀立地成佛，转换得超级生硬，太想当然了吧！影片的形象设计、对话内容、结构桥段、乃至视觉效果，并没有突破美国电影的超级英雄传统模式，使我有点审美疲劳了。
Ayoade可爱。我支持大家随身携带吐司准备夹一切，其他随意。
三观再改一改绝对是满分的作品，打戏枪战让我梦回杀破狼，打得又惨又猛。帮主的确是有点双标了，阿邦又有点太疯了。幸好大部分罪有应得的都有报应了。
尬笑了，这套路，第一次看的人会觉得还不错，其实真的做导演是很幸福的事情因为可以不停重复自己还有人看。甄子丹真的想学成龙但是总感觉是坏蛋，谢霆锋做坏蛋比做警察迷人多了

开篇抢劫银行前的情节类似低俗小说的开篇，劫狱那段颇有杀死比尔的感觉。总体剧情一般，鲨鱼挺逗的。
动画版的小时代。这应该不是给孩子看的动画片吧。这些反转，黑化，政治正确和道德绑架，对他们来说是不是太复杂了一些。画面不太精致，有点半成品的感觉，达不到梦工厂或者皮克斯的水平。
豆瓣评分过低，虽然人设有《疯狂动物城》+《神偷奶爸》的结合，依旧做出自己的风格，尤其狐狸那段忍者动作戏份，属实惊艳。剧情推进流畅，反转巧妙利索，展示出不少成人世界的残酷真相:小心那些荷兰猪一样的“善人”；撕掉标签并非易事；渡尽劫波兄弟在的友情…加上致敬《碟中谍》等不少经典影片的镜头，都让本片值得四颗星。
不太好。路线非常保守，希望通过一些元素的堆叠来达到复制其他电影的成功的效果。这里面很多转折靠行为推动，但是狼的行为转变很多都很生硬。这个电影一开始的创意点应该就是既然人们对于坏人以貌取人，那么坏人是否就没有变好的可能性。但很多探讨背后还是有前提条件的，类似于狐狸类似于蝙蝠侠式的装备是否完全来自从良后的合法财产。这些理想化的背后往往是现实中很多问题的困境，不过我也不知道这对于别人来说重不重要。说点轻松的，比如你荷兰猪拿着高科技就是为了偷钱也太没追求了…荷兰群猪很萌，所以这是怎么认定谁是智慧动物谁是宠物的lol。狼确实很帅(虽然也很刻意，看到最后才知道是洛克威尔配的音。这阵容好豪华，不过电影整体确实是看了就忘那种。另外我真是受不了这些电影里的“媒体”的形象啊，可能这么写剧本就必须要其他人降智吧

整体风格流畅活泼，妙语如珠，还有些桥段很逗，像蛇酒杯、狼外婆、鲨鱼美女什么的。
恶人从良的故事。前半段是标准的Misson情节，后半段进入了「改造」的处理。大概是想传达没有谁天生想做恶人，人人心中都有良善的种子。《动物城》的代餐。
据说是中规中矩，各方面都很均衡、水准之上的合家欢爆米花。个人觉得低幼老套了些，动物特性及社会性也没设定好。三星半
