The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Idealism of all time.
专门挑了这么一个时间重温，知道泪点低，但没想到从第一首歌就开始大哭，一直哭到最后。除了剧本身，还想起很多事，想起在伦敦的现场，想起2020年没能成行的中巡。现在笔袋上还挂着西区散场后从工作人员那得到的“dats a moose”的徽章，什么时候能再回去看现场。
很不错，音乐剧总是从始至终调动气氛，维持着舞台的充盈。

百老汇音乐剧果真不同凡响，从舞台设计、场景切换、光影效果到台词音乐都无可挑剔，女机长简直太酷！如果说上周刚看过的《转折点》试图拼接起正面的历史，这部音乐剧算是另辟蹊径地挽起一朵火焰，照耀出那段时光的影子。唯此空前绝后的经历方可配得上传奇人生，我亦多么渴望有一天坐在不明方向不知终点的航班上，将我可怜可笑又可叹的故事说与你听……

热血沸腾，哽咽多次，无论这个世界有多么糟糕，还有音乐，真是件幸运的事。表白女机长！

呜呜呜呜泪目了，什么时候国内也能有这种类型的优秀音乐剧……
有可能不太能欣赏这种一直高频歌唱的歌舞剧，911背景下依然没有感到感动，个人角度。
