The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 特意带潮汕朋友去看，母亲一出场朋友就在感慨：真的好像我妈！导演选角很成功，的确是我们心目中典型潮汕阿姨的形象。片中发生的故事也是真真切切的日常，传统与现代的碰撞，守在原地还是走出去，接受外省儿媳的过程其实也是与人生自我和解。有笑有爱的故事，喜欢！
感觉最入戏的是妈妈这个角色。最后我要说一句：红桃粿好好夹！！！
