The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 属于那种80年代老派的浪漫，啊哈，他居然把《出租车司机》又拍了一遍~
俗套的剧情，男主身材真好，两人之间很有性张力
在施拉德这里，“反类型”并不是一个在假定了某种“类型”的公式然后展开逆反的概念性手段，而是电影为了蜷收起情境自身的能量而不得不借以打开故事的裂隙的一种运作逻辑。段落镜头内人物入画出画，轻飘飘几无重量，摄影机巡视着干净的环境，内折起了电影所有锋利的棱角，甚至角色前史都只在失真平滑的鱼眼镜头中补足，这需要多大的勇气？所有讲述轮回的电影提出的都是相同的问题，为什么要拍摄它？故事有其逻辑并总是想要走向圆形闭合的结局，但从裂隙中重新发现的运动和情感的力量却能直线延续到无穷远处。这是电影存活的动力，也是角色的。
很蠢的romcom，感情起得很莫名其妙，转得很莫名其妙，纯粹靠颜值和性张力撑着。还是那句话，一切人物的情感表达如果只通过台词叙述那么镜头语言的存在还是否有必要呢？
可以和《国旗日》一争年度最迷人的影片宝座。

【B】必然的，轮回的，且总是可被预测的。罪孽、伤痕、受难与救赎，那些剧情被讲述的方式，正如主人公的生活一般沉闷，当然也伴随着极简的节律重复。同时也在他人的入侵中逐渐消解孤独壁垒，节奏走向失控，无论是常规的牌局博弈，还是妖艳的鱼眼镜头，都在导向那个必然的结局。也可以说全片都是为了最后一个镜头而拍，几乎完全布列松式的，跨越隔阂的温暖。
