The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 看之前没了解片子任何背景，然后边看边一直在感叹好像rent啊，看到最后才发现拍的就是rent的原作者的故事……
音乐及演唱是还不错的，接地气，然而电影载体挺不适合这种形式手法的，结构上不断间离，观众不断出戏，没法持续投入情境，另外剧情也是美式套路，梦想现实，爱情友情，无甚新意，还被大段的音乐冲散，老实说，直接编成舞台音乐剧大概效果好得多
“用爱发电意难平”，创作大概率是这个世界上性价比最低的事情。没有所谓的一分耕耘一分收获。你以为创新是魅力四射的事情——但其实人们，或是说商业眼光，从来比你想象中要守旧传统。

断断续续看了一个周 足以证明乏善可陈 故事老套 歌曲平庸 于我唯一亮点竟是许久未见的歌舞青春女主角 瞬间把我拉回青葱的初中
毫无亮点。加菲的表演很卖力，但给人的感觉更像是自我感动。

加菲尔德演得还是挺用力的，可总觉得他还是《血战钢锯岭》中的样子，没法跳脱成音乐人。另外对原型人物Jon也没啥了解，不知他好在哪里，影片中的歌曲，说实话，没有一首好听的，都比较一般吧，难以让人感到共鸣。
关于创作焦虑的部分还是拍的挺准的，但整体还是太平庸了。
非常无趣，只剩导演的一腔热情。加菲演技有点过誉，他适合演自带圣光的角色，某些时刻很动人，但没有辨识度，和其他形象没什么区别(如《血战钢锯岭》)。歌不好听，因为Larson的那首Come to Your Senses勉强给及格分吧。
每一个演员都唱功了得。独白部分都很赞。最喜欢的三首歌是Boho、Sunday和come to your senses。估计没人能对它们说不吧。
