The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 废土朋克+定格动画+末日题材+光怪陆离的血腥场景，看得出想映射核爆、压迫、专制的现实意义，可惜的是画风太过恶心，引起生理不适，快进着看完的。
这种几乎没有对白，并且意识流的电影，其实80分钟真的过长，再瑰丽也太长了
前半段比较精彩，跟随调查员探索废土世界，后半段不知所云。
1938年英法德意在慕尼黑讨论捷克的苏台德，捷克只能在会场外等待宰割，而今天俄罗斯与美国欧盟欧安讨论乌克兰问题，乌克兰都无法坐到谈判桌上，历史多么的相似。
顶着部分画面所带来的略微的生理不适，我还是看完了。对于剧情和画面，我只能分别说，我看不懂，但我大受震撼。也许剧情在本片压根不重要，画面才是导演想让你关注的所在。猎奇至极。据说是历时30年才完成的，可敬可敬，但也确实难以称之为好看。
虽然没完全看懂，但不妨碍目瞪口呆地看完。从头到尾充斥的婴孩哭声，长相却是只恶心的蠕虫，怪异地世界，说不清楚地感觉。旁观的是人还是上帝视角。
就是。。。没啥说的。。。语言太匮乏了 只能说牛逼 除了牛逼真没啥说的。。。
人类用共同想象建构起秩序，这个秩序又成为折磨我们的疯神。

don’t really care about the story gets a bit boring at times but visually cool as fuck. puppet blood is revolting. too many references. so much work. the set is insane.
