The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? ▫️影片后半段两人的冲突，乍看觉得莫名其妙接受不了，细想其实也再自然不过，无法把情欲和亲密感情剥离，是女主循规蹈矩人生的一部分，对于这次“一生中唯一的冒险”也自然而然的想在这条轨道上运行。而“相互救赎”非要让男主也来个转变就实属鸡汤了。
这是人类互助的时刻，这是悲伤的时刻，这也是欣慰的时刻。
从内核到表现方式都刻板无趣，全靠老ET豁出去的表演撑着。

剧情很有耐心很不错，尤其是最后立意放在彼此疗愈上。不过性工作者的合法性还是不能因为本片而被推举上舞台。还是只能处于灰色地带。

以为不可能发生的事情，被以为不可能的人性拯救一部分，虽然处处都有现实的痕迹，但是还是能让我们真正相信大爱。之前没看过音乐剧，先是演员调度和布景变化惊叹到我，再往后就被情绪感染，笑了很多次，哭了更多次。印象最深的是圣经的共同语言，和女机长提到最爱的事情被别人用搞破坏。

20年后的今日，当别有用心之人还在将彼时的悲剧用作思想灌输的素材和立场观点的划分时，Broadway的一场演出将"We're all islanders"歌颂。

好像看现场啊。完全想不到的切入点，演员都演得非常棒。尤其女机长独唱那一段，太励志了。
天降圣鸭！衰老不是最可怕的，最可怕的是老了没钱请鸭，所以，女人，趁着年轻多多挣钱吧。
西方的文化战略极其成功，明明伪善邪恶到骨子里，却伪装出一副世界大同的景象。片子越好，越令人作呕。若是数年前看到这个，一定会被洗脑，只可惜已经吞下红丸，不可能回得去了。
