The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 三星给予这探究的新意，对男主的探索应该会让这个故事更加饱满，但是过度挖掘有点本末倒置，没有力量
电话线上找不到出路的可怜人，911指挥中心里找不到出路的接线员，破碎者拯救破碎者，愈是痛苦愈是纠结，本来不那么喜欢吉伦哈尔，但他表演实在挑不出毛病，抑郁，暴躁，痛苦，愧疚，焦急，软弱，能清晰地区分出他的情绪来源，层次感非常好，张力十足，全片没有动作戏，没有性感花瓶，但小成本拍成大制作的感觉，网飞出品的正片上限又被推高几分。
嗯……用一个突如其来的救赎换取另一个救赎……
因为是翻拍，所以少了一颗星，要不是看过西班牙版原片，这个可以四星。
整部影片靠杰克·吉伦哈尔的演技撑起，换任何人来演都会寡淡无味…老吉YYDS！

由于影片特殊的形式，整个电影几乎全都是杰克吉伦哈尔所饰演警察的特写与中景镜头，他也不负众望的完成了任务。

以这种小格局的悬疑片来说，本身在有限时间内调度节奏就很有难度，这片还要把大段的时间往主角救赎这个主题上凑（甚至临近结尾你才明白导演的意图），导致主线剧情完全沦为次辅、剧情输出匮乏、张力完全不够，玩深度咱换个类型片玩不行吗。
完全是靠老吉的演技撑起了一切，这么久了还是很吃这类颜值，超爱他。
