The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 武戏很认真，文戏全为引出武戏，故事也就无所谓了。画面渲染总感觉有边线断裂的不连续感。结尾音乐还以为是“星之所在”，囧。
江湖的惨烈无情、人性纠葛令人愤慨，也有点憋闷，但动作的行云流水、洒脱凌厉充满艺术美感，也非常爽。动作的爽冲淡了剧情的憋，入口绵柔不辣喉。但朝代更迭，庙堂与江湖的纷争却是永不落幕。

多么行云流水挥洒自如的动作设计，多么义薄云天快意恩仇的江湖豪气。没有善恶，只有立场，人物主题均处理的高级。“这乱世一口饭要用黄金万两来换，一滴水的欲望要用一碗血来偿还”，好久没见到这么好的台词了

有句话讲得不错，中国武侠的真人影像已经日落西山一去不返，那么动画就应该是最好的媒介和契机。

武术动作可谓是国产动画历史最佳了。不仅是一招一式，所有兵器形制都有考究。因最近看的《中国刀剑史》，对片尾兵器谱美设中的名词都分外眼熟。
腾讯的画质太差太差了。
动作设计的不错，动画虽不够细腻，却很有风格。
虽然这是压抑纠结的一百分钟，但我真的很喜欢，那个在困境里成长的《美国女孩》。

武打设计无可指摘，太牛了，就是运镜个人觉得转的太快了，在一个时点内缺少一个轴心，让人觉得有点眩晕…

怒赞！不必说武术动作大大加分，音效氛围营造的也非常恰适；故事简单，但调度和水平真真是梦回武侠时代，短小精悍不装逼；永恒的个体命运与集体利益冲击的悲剧，堪称不上完美，可也难得不乏教化之意；国漫做成这样相当提气！
叙事四平八稳，不温吞，也没有太刻意的戏剧化冲突。面对生命流逝摇摇欲坠，家庭关系紧张碰撞，大环境焦虑恐慌，林嘉欣的表演非常细腻，收放自如，隐忍的，狂躁的，无奈的，崩溃的，都处理的很到位，很难不对她共情。
